Yamhill-Carlton, Willamette Valley, Oregon
Like last year, the 2024 Rosé comes from Wayward Oak Vineyard (previously Timbale and Thyme) in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA in Willamette Valley. We chose grapes growing mid-slope for its slower ripening, allowing us to pick at a lower potential alcohol. John was there for this harvest and worked hand-in-hand with Anthony to get this fruit from the vineyard to the tanks. The palate combines a richness and density with thrilling acidity and a quenching quality on the long finish. This one is great for sipping this summer or pairing with a light meal all year round. If you enjoyed our first “crushable “rosé, you’ll love this one just as much!
