2025 Viognier Chenin Blanc

$25 /750ml bottle

Willamette Valley, Oregon

Viognier has had a special place in the Le Miel story since it is the varietal that opened the door for Stacey’s sister to discover how much she enjoyed wine. A few years later, the chance to make our own was one we couldn’t pass up.

Our 2025 blend is about 85% Viognier from organically farmed Croft Vineyard in Mount Pisgah, a newer AVA farther south with a slightly warmer growing environment, and 15% Chenin Blanc from Ridgecrest Vineyard in Ribbon Ridge, a cooler, northern AVA known for producing some of the Willamette Valley’s most sought-after wines.

This isn’t your typical soft, round Viognier. Peach and pear lead to lemon zest and chalky minerality, with a bright, long finish. It’s fresh and expressive now and will continue to evolve in the bottle, softening over time and revealing more of its floral and peach notes – part of what makes wine so much fun.

Try it with Moroccan, Thai, or Indian dishes, simply prepared fish, or enjoy it on its own.
